Suckler Cow Final & Breeding Heifer Derby

We would like to invite Fermanagh farmers to enter our Suckler Classic Herds Competition. Entries open Monday 27th June 2023 and close on Friday 14th July.

The breeding Heifer Derby is again sponsored by Lakeland Veterinary Services.

The Prize Fund is £2,500 plus a bonus of £300 if the overall champion and reserve champion Suckler Cows are owned by Fermanagh farmers. Also £500 prizemoney in the Heifer Derby. 

The new Castle Irvine Perpetual Challenge Cup will be presented to the Champion of the Suckler Classic at prize night in October.

On Saturday 12th August) the five qualifying finalists will compete at Fermanagh Show in Castle Irvine Estate Irvinestown.
