ACCESS TO SHOWGROUNDS:
General Public access to Show: There is Parking on site for around 2000 vehicles on grass.

    • Adults: £10  Youth under 16 yrs FREE All Children are free if accompanied by an Adult.

  • ADMISSION TO SHOW FOR EXHIBITORS - SYSTEM FOR 2023:
    • Schools: Phase 2 Exhibits must be delivered to the Indoor Arena Castle Irvine Necarne on Tuesday 8th August 9am - 12 noon  
    • Home Industries: Exhibits to be staged Thursday evening 10th August 6 - 9pm or Friday morning 9am - 11am, all vehicles must be moved off site asap to allow Traders to set up outdoor stands.
    • Poultry must arrive PAST CLOCK TOWER AND DOWN CASTLE STREET on Saturday 7am - 8.30am only and all vehicles must be moved to parking areas. If you wish to drop poultry on Friday they will be well cared for by our steward. 
    • Pedigree Dog Show sponsored by Enviro Care (NI)  entries on field from 5.30pm in front of the Castle. In Sand Paddock beneath Walled Garden over little bridge. 
    • Cattle & Sheep arrive by the Grand White Gates on Saturday from 7am to 8.15am.
    • Goats on Friday afternoon by Castle Street entrance proceeding over the bridge past walled garden to Rose Wall Stables.
    • It is a one way system only for stock arrivals. 
    • Trade Exhibitors: Outdoor Stands -  Set up of Machinery stands from 10 am Thursday 10th August till 12 noon 11th August.  All heavy items must be in place on Thursday evening if possible, stands around Foodhall Marquee cannot be erected until after 6.30pm on Thursday. For Trade Exhibitors with Indoor Stands the Set up times are on Thursday 10th August between 9am - 9pm or 11am to 1pm on Friday (very busy site on Friday) 11th August.  Home Industry Exhibits arrive between 9am and 11am to avoid this rush. Those adjacent to Food Marquee please contact the steward for a timetable. 
    • Foodhall Stands. Set up after 6.30pm on Thursday 10th August or 9am - 1pm on Friday 11th August. 

 

BABY CHANGING FACILITIES:
A Baby Changing Facilities will be available in the toilets off to the left inside the Indoor Arena, where Flower Show is held. 

BANKING:
ATM facilities will be available in nearby Irvinestown at Northern Bank or Euro Spar Market Street behind Mahon's Hotel area. 

CATERING ON SITE:
Heather will cater on both days. They also provide food for Livestock Stewards and Judges on both days.

Heathers Cottage Bakery will provide catering in the indoor cafe above the Arena for Judges Steward's and the Public. Those with Food Vouchers can use these also at any of the other food trailers. They  can only be redeemed at face value. Wayne McCall Glaze & Roll Catering will provide a wide range of quality food at three outdoor sites in yard some seating provided, Heather's Cottage Bakery will also provide tea and coffee and delights in sit down area of Food Pavilion, there will be a wide range of food also available on food stands in the Food Pavilion.

CATALOGUES:
Are on sale at the Show Office next to the Courtyard or across from the Foodhall and also in main parking field.
Demand is always high for the Catalogues, so we would advise you to purchase early.

We advise to come early to avoid change in traffic flow

CAR PARKING:
Car Parking for 2000 cars on site there is a parking charge of £2 on exiting site. Disabled Parking accommodated in field close to the Castle via the Grand White Gates on Enniskillen to Irvinestown Road. 

Charities are allowed to collect only on their stands, not around main show.

INFORMATION HOW TO FIND YOUR WAY AROUND:
We realise that there is a lot to see and do at the show so to help you we have produced a FREE HANDY LEAFLET with including timetables and maps (TBC). These are available at the main gates on admission at one per vehicle, the Show Catalogue provides extensive information on all exhibits pedigrees etc along with judges stewards and sponsors listings.  This year we are upgrading our internal signage so navigating the site will be a ‘doddle’.

JUDGING TIMES:
Judging will commence in Indoor Exhibition area at 12 noon to 3pm on Friday. Dog Show Judging on Friday at 6pm. On Saturday Livestock Judging will commence at 10am sharp.

LOST CHILDREN:
We would encourage everyone to have an agreed meeting point in place, in case children get separated from their minders. A good idea is to write the minders mobile number on the child’s hand, in case they get separated in the crowds.  The Mother's Union are acting as site guides, and when all else fails, we will have the details announced from the Secretary’s Office at the H.Q. or at PA Station in the showgrounds in front of the castle. The Paramedic Team and PSNI will also assist lost children.

LOST AND FOUND:
Lost belongings may be found at the HQ office 02866322509. Please watch the website and Facebook on the days after the show as we will list any found and unclaimed items. Many mobile phones turn up with no ID and some are locked and we are unable to trace owner please put some specific mark on your mobile so we can ensure it goes back to its rightful owner. 

MEDICAL ATTENTION:
Everyone should take care and help to ensure that we have a safe and accident free visit to the Show. For any accidents on site, contact any steward displaying a badge or the paramedics on site and they will assist you at any time. South West Acute Hospital is located 7 miles away from site. 

The terrain may be uneven, thus requiring caution with movement.

Emergency services will be provided at a few locations and near the HQ.
If needing attention, contact should be made with any of the Safety Officers and or Stewards, who will in turn contact the emergency services.

PHONES:   
We expect that all the mobile networks will have good coverage, as maximum output has been requested from our network providers.
Please be careful with your mobile phone, as there are usually a number of phones lost at the Show. We cannot identify locked mobiles so tape a friends contact number to the back please. 

SURVEY:
In the interest of planning, evaluation and development we may be conducting a survey at the show this year. We would very much appreciate your co-operation on this matter.

TIMES:
Showground’s are open to the public on Friday 3-10pm and Saturday 10am-4pm.

TICKET SELLING:
No ticket selling or any charity collections are allowed on the showground’s or in the car parks on show day. Those who wish to sell tickets or accept donations can do so on their own trade stands. 

TOILETS:
Portable toilets are located at several points on the Showground’s which are also wheelchair accessible. The toilets inside the premises will be signposted. Please note hand sanitizer points for hand sterilizing are located  across the site. Please keep safe!!

ARRIVE EARLY While we are delighted to see you at any time, we would encourage you to come early and allow yourself plenty of time to see and enjoy all the activities of our vast programme of events.
There will certainly be something for everyone.
Timetables with full details will be available at Front of the Castle and in Court Yard area and Walled Garden.

DIRECTIONS & TRAFFIC PLANS:
Fermanagh County Show takes place on the 11th & 12th  August this year. The site is situated on the Main Irvinestown Rd in the grounds in the grounds of the Castle Irvine Estate kindly granted for the event, Relatively level access on a mainly grass and hardcore site with a sand based showgrounds for showing cattle. Over  200 trade stands are expected.


We have worked closely with the PSNI to make sure that we will have a free-flowing one-way traffic system in place.
The traffic plan will be available on the website later. Visitors will arrive by the grand white gates and payment will be taken in the avenue prior to parking. The preferred payment system is ready cash, with £10 per adult or hard copy tickets please. Castle Street is open only to our Judges Stewards and Emergency Services. We thank the residents of Castle Street for their cooperation as we plan the first Fermanagh County Show in your area. Also all the traders in Irvinestown for their welcome and support and understanding and we hope that the show will bring lots of economic benefits to this area of north Fermanagh
All routes will be well sign posted and we would ask motorists to follow the routes indicated.
Exhibitors, Judges, Steward's and those people with special passes have priority unless their is a health and safety issue. 
All vehicle windscreen car passes short and long stay should be clearly displayed, so as to avoid delay in the traffic flow.
